SYSTAM RESPA – THE MOST TRANSPARENT CHOICE

The customer service desk at Tampereen Sähkölaitos was awakened to the need of visitor management due to safety issues. The movement of visitors within the facility was not recorded at all, and the uncontrolled visitor traffic created a sense of insecurity and uncertainty.
After having compared the various service providers, Systam stood out quickly with its transparent service which was just the answer to the needs of the electricity company. The thought of a domestic, local service provider was also nice, and the Systam Respa system was commissioned in autumn 2016.

The electricity company commissioned the comprehensive Systam Respa system with a Prestige self-service kiosk and front desk functionalities. Commissioning and training went smoothly and the new system has been welcomed at Tampereen Sähkölaitos.

IMPROVED SERVICE WITH ADVANCE NOTIFICATIONS

Commissioning of the Respa system has increased safety and enhanced fluent services at Tampereen Sähkölaitos. Adding a self-service kiosk in the customer service desk has also released resources for use elsewhere. The kiosk assists in the tasks of the service desk and does not tie up personnel for receiving visitors.

Upon their arrival, visitors sign in with their name or by using a QR quick code they have received in advance. They receive a visitor card and their arrival and exit will be stored in the system. From the viewpoint of personnel, the system has increased awareness and made visitor management easier. For example, the Outlook integration deserves credit, as it enables a handy way to register visits.

On the basis of experience gained at Tampereen Sähkölaitos, the best characteristic of the solution, however, are the pre-arrival messages. Especially the visitors have valued them. Messages from the company are sent out both as email messages and SMS messages. When the visitor receives advance information on who they will be meeting, how to arrive at the facility and where to park, it brings great added value to them.
