The solution has assisted in easing the extended task description of the front desk services and in giving more structure to the reception of visitors. Especially the easy-to-use QR code has received praise, as it makes the sign-in procedure faster and gives an impressive image of the company.

A FUNCTIONAL SOLUTION TO IMPRESSIVE VISITOR MANAGEMENT
Before use of the Respa solution, visitors would enter their information on a visitor form by hand, but the old-fashioned method was not in line with other practices at Outotec, a manufacturer of top-notch technology. The Respa system was an excellent solution to this problem, and visitors now register their arrival using the Respa service. At present, there are two Respa Prestige kiosk terminals in the main lobby of Outotec House, because the facility welcomes a large number of visitors. The second kiosk has been found to be efficient in evening out the visitor flow during peak hours. After the signing-in has been completed, the kiosk prints out a visitor card and notifies the person hosting the visit that the guest has arrived. Visitor parking has also been simplified with the use of the Respa solution, as visitors arriving by car can register their licence number directly in the system during registration.
NEW SERVICES AND QUICK RESPONSES
Visitors can also be registered in the system in advance, and the visitor can then announce their arrival conveniently by entering the QR code. Erkko Malinen, Director of Facility & Premises Services at Outotec, explains that registration by use of a code provides a good feeling and image of the company. Thanks to the new system to be commissioned soon, people can also be automatically registered as visitors by using calendar invitations. Following the commissioning of the system, Malinen believes that the Respa solution will serve them even more efficiently than before. Malinen has also been satisfied with the service offered by Systam. The staff can be reached quickly and the Respa solution has been developed especially for the needs of Outotec.
