Home What’s new Seasons greetings Seasons greetings 20.12.2022 News Jaa: Anssi Tamminen CEO at Systam Systam’s year 2022 As in the past two years, summing up the year into just a few sentences wasn’t so simple this year either, because it has (once again) had its turns. Covid-19 still had a significant impact, especially at the beginning of the year, and brought both changes and new opportunities for work and office life. Our Workplace product family, released this year, responded to these needs. With its help we were able to serve our customers in the challenges posed by the changing work environments. And what about visitor traffic? According to our analytics, the number of visits to companies has returned to an almost normal level surprisingly quickly – including, of course, organization- and facility-specific differences. Other changes in the world, the most significant being the war in Ukraine, have also been reflected in our operations. Inflation and general economic uncertainty have affected our sales both in Finland and in Europe. In the domestic field, the coming structural reform of social welfare and health care services has been reflected in discussions with the public sector, especially during the last months of the year. In the field of technology, the year has offered a lot of new and interesting things. The rise of artificial intelligence has been unprecedentedly visible. Have you already tested, for example, OpenAI Dall E 2 or ChatGPT services (see examples at the end of this post)? They have at least made my jaw drop. We have also heard many talks about the Metaverse and the opportunities and threats it brings. One can’t help but wonder what can already be accomplished. At Systam, we have invested heavily in our technical platform and the utilization of the latest technologies during the year. Exciting times! The investments made now will be strongly visible already during the coming year and far into the future. During the year, our team has grown steadily by discovering new diamonds to join the old ones. Needless to say, it’s the foundation of everything for us. We were also able to increase both our turnover and our monthly invoicing, and based on the feedback, our customers have liked what we do. We will continue to invest in our customers’ satisfaction and long-term partnerships – even more than before. A humble thank you to all our partners and customers, and above all, the people here at Systam. We made it through another artful year, and are looking forward with great enthusiasm to starting a new one. Wishing you all a joyful holiday season and an excellent year 2023, Anssi and Team Systam Merry Christmas to everyone We shared the Christmas spirit again this year by enabling every Systam employee to make a donation to a good cause of their choice. Donations were distributed e.g. to the following parties: Unicef ryPelastakaa Lapset ryMieli ry – Lasten ja nuorten mielenterveysAivosäätiö – Neurologisten sairauksien tutkimusShare Tanzania Service also during the holidays Our sales and support is normally open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. ChatGPT example: Hi ChatGPT, can you explain to us how COVID-19 has changed visitor management in companies? The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the way that companies manage visitors. In an effort to reduce the risk of transmission of the virus, many companies have implemented new policies and procedures for managing visitors, such as: Requiring all visitors to undergo temperature checks and complete a health questionnaire before entering the premises.Requiring visitors to wear masks or other personal protective equipment (PPE) while on the premises.Limiting the number of visitors allowed in the building at any given time.Implementing social distancing measures, such as marked areas on the floor to indicate where visitors should stand while waiting to be admitted.Implementing virtual visitor management systems, such as online appointment scheduling and virtual check-ins, to reduce the need for in-person visits. Overall, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to significant changes in the way that companies manage visitors, with a focus on ensuring the health and safety of employees and visitors alike.
